| I Can't Type Like This Ok, Tucker is 9 months old next week, and NOW he has decided to be a lap dog! He's 9 and a half pounds and for the first time ever he wants to sit in my lap at the computer. When he was 4 pounds he wanted to run all over the house like a maniac and wouldn't sit still for a petting. Suddenly, over the last week or so, he's become Mr. Affectionate! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE it and thought he'd never be like this, but he's a cow and if he is sitting on my lap I can't do anything but sit there! Oh well, I'll take it. It has taken me forever to type this because he is licking my hands while I'm typing. I don't know what has come over him lately, but I'm loving the lovin'

| Logan's starting to do that too. He's 8 months old now and for the past couple weeks he's been a lot more loving. He wants to be near us and be held more and petted. I absolutely love it. He'll lay on me when he chews his bone, but he will just lay near my husband. On the way back from my hubby's family he refused to lay back in the back seat. We had made it up for him with his toys and bed, but he wanted to lay on the counsel or on one of our laps. He was always very independent, not unfriendly, just not a cuddler. So I love that he's becoming more of a lap dog now. Edited to say that my little love bug is 10lbs (I just consider it practice for when and if I ever have a baby).

| he sounds just like my mom's yorkie rocky. He just turned two and he is just now starting to want to sit or lay with you. It use to be that he would only calm down or let you pet him when he was asleep. otherwise he never wanted to sit besdie you or be a lap dog. He's about 9lbs. also |

| This is so encouraging! I was a little worried that my Zoe hates me. I can hardly ever pet him or hug him because when he's up, he wants to run around. I have to get him tired enough to cuddle with him. Since he's so tiny, I don't want to hurt him but I have to admit I stepped on him a couple of times (not hard). I can't wait till he loves me.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | That's so STRANGE! Eddie is 19 months, and for the last few he's been turning into a lap dog. Last night at obedience class, he was literally jumping up on my lap and wanting to snuggle while the teacher was talking. I'm sure all the other dogs were laughing at him! My wife loves it, but I miss wild Eddie sometimes. Fortunately, he's got a little of both still.

| I think Nikko feels neglected while I'm on the computer because that is when he chooses to want to be on my lap. He gets on his tiptoes and puts his little paws on my lap as if to say "mommy pick me up". Then when I place him on my lap, all he wants to do is lick my hands . So there I go, typing one handed and trying not to misspell everything. It takes forever but you know I won't put him down .

Zoe loves you, don't worry! And he'll come around. I never would have believed it if I hadn't seen the change in Tucker.
