| It's my understanding that a Biewer is a different breed than a yorkie.Out of curiosity, what makes the biewer a different breed than a yorkie?? Obviously there is color and I know the Biewer has to have a specific color pattern with specific colors in specific places like the traditional yorkie.....but why aren't they just considered a party colored yorkie then? When bred, do Biewers always throw the biewer colors or can they throw other colors as well?? If they throw a black and tan pup, is it a biewer or is it a yorkie?? http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...vs-biewer.html Biewers can be distinguished from Yorkies by genetic testing--they have stabilized as a separate and distinct breed. | |
