| That poor baby... I'm from Washington and I see she's posting on Craigslist. Good for her. It's really too bad that he wasn't microchipped or wearing a collar. If she gets him back, those are the first things I'd do... All of my babies are microchipped, wearing collars and are registered with the city. It's important to do all that you can to ensure you get your babies back if they should ever be lost. ETA: I would also suggest getting him neutered. That is probably why he got out. He would be able to smell a female in heat within miles and many unneutered males will do absolutely anything to get to a female...

| I'm certain if she gets him back she'll def. do all those things :-) You are surely right about the neutering... she had planned on getting him neutered several months ago and then the holidays happened. He was scheduled to go in at the end of the month :-( |

| Still sending positive thoughts your friend's way for a happy return of Jasper. I know if my Bailey went missing I would surely be sick thinking about him out there somewhere. I think that it is SO important to watch these popular sweeties when out and doing their business, as they would certainly not be hard to rehome. I hope this story will make some one out there be warned that this can, and does, happen. Please, keep a keen eye on your yorkie... at all times!! Here is BC I also watch out for bald eagles, just in case they see my Bailey as a tasty snack. I would be horrified to see him being lifted away. |

| as yet no happy ending :-( they are still praying and hoping. They'll be going house to house again. Prob has been they both work early and get home after 10pm. Someone has been taking their signs down in the neighborhood ,they think it could be someone near who has him. |

It's weird someone would take down those flyers. If your friend lives in a neighborhood that has a HOA, perhaps she can email a flyer to them for them to forward to the rest of your neighbors? Or print the flyers and put them in the mailboxes. | |

| I'm sending her my prayers as well. I'm so sad for her and her baby. Hoping for a happy ending! As for someone taking down the flyers - that may actually be a good sign because, I agree that it could be that someone has him nearby and doesn't want to be found. I also definitely agree with Magnus to be more aggressive in handing out flyers and also maybe even advising on the flyers to be on the lookout for anyone who is taking them down... |

| I'll let her know. Still praying for a positive outcome but it's been over a week. :-( There was a Yorkie posted as found in another town on CL , I don't think it's Jasper but it's nice they are doing right by posting a found Yorkie. |
