| Yorkie Vocabulary - ours affects daily conversation PHhhhTTTTttt! That's the best spelling for what our lil guy says the most. He uses his snort to announce his presence when entering the room or when someone else enters. He uses phhhttTT when he accomplishes or wants something. So now, Robyn and I catch ourselves using it in our conversations to each other.. LOL |

Hee hee!!!! Harry does that too....he puffs and blows and snorts - especially when we reach Andy's place of work - then he really let's us know that HE knows (and he's really unhappy!!!) that we've got to do the backward journey 'home alone'.... When we (sometimes!) leave Harry at home during these journeys....we do that puffing and blowing and snorting business to one another.... I guess it must be an International thing.... | Barney's is a long high pitched whine that pretty much goes with any of his demands. I want some fooooooood. Put me up on the beeeeeeed. Let me ooouuuuut. Pick me uuuuuuup. Throw my baaaaaallllll. As you read this, sing each stretched out word in the highest pitch possible and it will be just like he's there with you.

| Add my spouse and me to the list of weirdos who speak in Yorkese. From the Phhth noises to Keegan's donkey-bray/elephant trumpet/yodeler-in-distress and including our puppy's little excited piglet sounds (*hoink* *snick* *schnort*)...we are guilty of a whole dictionary of pet-related words and noises that would cause others to advise a psych consult if taken out of context.
