Thanks for all the good wishes everyone. I appreciate it. The vet did see The growth about a year ago when it was a tiny bump. She said it wasn't anything to worry about but now it is really large and needs to come off.
I'm trying to get a phone call in to the vet to see if I can talk her into takeing the ICare card.

Here is the latest news.
I received my card and called the vets office to talk to the vet. She is perfectly OK with getting Adie's records from my regular vet and doing the surgery. Adie will have the surgery on Feb. 10. She will get a dental at the same time. I asked that they do a complete blood workup since she hasn't had anesthesia for a couple of years. She does well with it though. She will be 8 in May and I think they will need to do a geriatric workup on her won't they?


I said that I couldn't go over $500.00 and she said that it wouldn't be a problem.
Yes! I feel a lot better all ready.

Have you thought about becoming a caregiver? I do volunteer hospice work and I see seniors who could stay in their homes if they had a caregiver to watch over them. So many of them are alone. Maybe an agency you can check and work for. I love the elderly and believe me, they need to stay in their homes if possible. Hope this helps. You want help? Say a prayer!

It was really easy! I don't think they even did a credit check because I got the approval right away!
