Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Holder for travel ? Has anyone tried this Nothing Like It Designs Magnetic Dog Housebreaking and Training Pad Holder. I was wondering if it would get chewed. Sometimes we use a potty pad. And if we travel, I never just put down a pad. He always had a holder. Wasn't sure if it will just sit or do a bring a holder. I am making myself crazy lol Amazon.com: Nothing Like It Designs Magnetic Dog...

| Unless Galen messes with the pad or tends to pee on the edge I wouldn't bother. I've never used a pad holder or adhesive strips. |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | He does sometimes pees on the edge. We most of the time go outside but sometimes I have to use the potty pad. We are going to a few events and staying in a hotel so instead of going up and down in the hotel I thought better to have a potty pad down for him

For hotel use, as they usually have carpeted rooms, I pack a large washable pad along with the disposable pads. I put the washable pad down first and then put the disposable pad on top of it, so even ZoE pees near the edge of the smaller disposable pad, the washable pad catches it and keeps it from going on the carpet.

| i am not clear if you are you worried about him missing the pad or having it stay in place. Does he drag the pad around or scruff it up with his hind legs, if so maybe we can find some rocks for the corners However if you are afraid of him only getting it half on the pad, you could buy a roll of rubbery feeling shelf lining paper and cut it larger than the pad, that's what I did when I had a paper trained male. It was easy to wipe clean and protected my wood floor.
