Senior Yorkie Talker | Why have all my sent private messages disappeared? Hello, I've been on many, many forums (many using this same software)- on this one just for a couple of months - wondering why when I look at sent private messages I see zero - although I am way under the 100 limit. (And sorry, I can't figure out where else I should post a tech question). Thanks! Alec Last edited by AlecM; 01-16-2014 at 05:47 PM. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Please close/ delete I just figured out this forum doesn't keep any sent messages, and where this should be posted - sorry! Now back to figuring out how to give the puppy a very basic topknot/ ponytail - (they're coming out pretty lopsided) |

| sent messages are kept, or at least they are for donating members. When you are on the PM screen at the top you should see a box, on the second line it will say Jump to Folder. Underneath it normally says Received or In or something like that, hit the down arrow to the right of it, and a selection that includes sent messages should appear, just select that and you should see all you sent messages.

Nice to know that it's just me or something and that it's not default functionality. Ah- maybe it's a donating members thing (haven't donated yet, I'll go look at that). Best AlecM | |

| it might be in your settings because there is an option if you want your sent messages saved. So try this Go to User CP. Look for Settings and Options, Select Edit Options then scroll down until you see the Private Message Options and you will see that you have a choice if you want your sent messages saved. Make sure that box is checked that saves the messages. They do count to the max of messages you are allowed to have so that is probably why you have an option of saving them or not. Let me know if that works for you

Senior Yorkie Talker | It worked! Thanks, DBlain! - it worked! I've been on many forums with this software and it's usually defaulted on, so I've never had to find it before. Awesome! [Now, realizing that this is totally the wrong forum for this thread, here's a comment that's actually about a yorkie - Shelby, our almost 6-month-old cutie] Turns out that a Kong with a treat in it is so successful in getting her ready for bed (she crates overnight) that we've had to start spelling it out before we're ready for her bedtime "Could you get the K-O-N-G ready?" If we don't spell it out, she comes here, checks her private messages, and then demands to go to bed. Not a bad deal. Thanks all! Last edited by AlecM; 01-16-2014 at 07:58 PM. |
