| Both mine were on Interceptor before it discontinued and have been on Heartgard Plus since. However, I'm switching them over to Sentinel. They haven't had any issues with Interceptor and Heartgard Plus as far as I know. |

YT 2000 Club Member | I give Heartgard Plus and I usually don't have any issues, but the last time I gave it, Tatiana had a loose stool. It was just 1 and I think it has to do with the Heartgard. It says it can have that side effect as it gets rids of other types of worms besides heart worms.

| Tibbe has taken Heartgard since Interceptor was taken off the shelves and our supply ran out without problems, thank goodness. Do you use the plain Heartgard or the Heartgard Plus? I accidentally bought the Heartgard Plus for Tibbe one 6-month period and didn't even realize it until it was time to re-order! It scared me silly that he had been on Heartgard Plus when he had undiagnosed MVD at the time but apparently he had no ill-effects from it and we went right back to the regular Heartgard from then on. I tried to think back to see if I remembered he had any problems during that past 6 mos. and couldn't remember any extra symptoms such as diarrhea I couldn't otherwise explain. Maybe somebody else here can suggest something they have used that you will feel comfortable using. It's so scary to have to change - I feel for you!

| I have only ever had one that didn't tolerate Heart Guard. However, all 3 of mine take monthly Sentinel.
