Tibbe has taken Heartgard since Interceptor was taken off the shelves and our supply ran out without problems, thank goodness. Do you use the plain Heartgard or the Heartgard Plus? I accidentally bought the Heartgard Plus for Tibbe one 6-month period and didn't even realize it until it was time to re-order! It scared me silly that he had been on Heartgard Plus when he had undiagnosed MVD at the time but apparently he had no ill-effects from it and we went right back to the regular Heartgard from then on. I tried to think back to see if I remembered he had any problems during that past 6 mos. and couldn't remember any extra symptoms such as diarrhea I couldn't otherwise explain.
Maybe somebody else here can suggest something they have used that you will feel comfortable using. It's so scary to have to change - I feel for you!
