| do baby teeth need to be pulled My baby is 14 months old and has 2 rows of front teeth on bottom. Her baby teeth in front never fell out and now the adult teeth are behind them. She has a few on top the same way. My vet said I should have them pulled. She weighs 2.8 lbs is this a good idea or should I let them fall out on their own? |

| If they haven't fallen out by now there not going to. A lot of people get the baby teeth pulled when they get there pup fixed. Leaving the baby teeth can cause there mouth to unalign and can cause food to get stuck and rot.

| Absolutely, get those baby teeth pulled! If they haven't fallen out on their own by 14 months, they're not going to. |

| They can cause dental caries and malformation of the bite if you leave them too long. I'd get your baby in, get pre-op bloodwork done and an exam to be sure he's ok for the procedure and have those pulled immediately. They have tiny roots so it's not that painful afterward I wouldn't imagine and the vet will likely give you something to give for pain.

I would have them pulled. I did Galen's when he got fixed. It was better that he was only put under once for both procedures.
