				   | My Riley just had to learn how to get both ends on the pad. At first, he would put his nose on the pad and squat but his back end would be on the floor. I just lifted his back end from the sides and moved it on to the pad. It didn't take many times for him to learn. Now that he is older and lifts his leg, he adjusts himself till his aim is right before he goes. Isn't it sweet how hard they try to please us? |

				   | The good news is once I reprimanded him that one time and he didn't get a treat for it, he hasn't lifted his leg in the house since :-) he's been so easy to potty train since I rescued him at nine weeks old. I think he's only had 3 accidents in the house :-) I call that great potty training, he's such a smart little guy and I just love him to death. Right now were trying to wrk on the arguing between him and his cat, or maybes he's the cats dog since the cat is 10 :-) they have such a sibling rivalry it's crazy. What is funny is my cat Lucy I bottle fed from 2 days old as she was one of my feral rescues, and she walks on a leash, goes to the park, rides in the car and a bunch of stuff normal cats don't do. I have rescued so many cats and have 3 right now, but Lucy has never bonded with any of the other cats. Who would have thought after 10 years, all my kitty Lucy needed was a puppy to bond with for a best friend :-) now if I could only stop their arguing lol. It's really funny, they play chase all over, then gizmo gets mad because she won't play with his toys with him, so he starts barking at her, and she growls and hisses back, and this can go on forever lol. They are very cute together though, Lucy was so upset after Gizmo got fixed, that she slept right next to his pen until he felt better because she was so worried about her puppy :-) its a cute kitty and puppy relationship, but would be way cuter if they stopped arguing lol. I'm just glad the leg lifting thing was a one time deal for Gizmo. I honestly think he thought o himself, hey I wonder if I can stand on the floor, lift my leg and aim for the pad to see if I can hit it, and once it didn't work, he went back to the right way lol. |

				   | I used a gallon water filled bleach bottle for Peek, who at 16 YO had just learned to use the PeePads. The bottle really helped him with his balance, although I did witness a few 'Air-pee' events (think air guitar, lol). He rarely squatted. One time he was aiming on one of my antique sewing machine bases, and I looked away just as he readjusted his aim to my leg! I had stood very still bc I didn't want to do Peepee interuptus, haha, but his aim was a tad short and only hit my shoe. He had never done that, I think he may have been going partially blind at the time, or I was standing too still and he didn't realize it was my leg. I love the idea of having 'PeePad Wallpaper'. LMBO!
