I feel like more and more people are becoming inconsiderate and/or feeling entitled one way or another. It's just plain wrong what she and her husband did. It's even worse that they didn't offer any explanation. Makes me wonder if they even realize what they did was wrong... I hope they don't ask you for any more "favors".

That's ridiculous, you'd think they'd want to stay on good terms with such a convenient baby sitter.

Story of my life..I have four kids but no one thinks twice about dropping theirs off and showing up two hours late to get them not to mention EVER reciprocating. I have people drop their kids (9) at my door and not even meet me. I open the door as they are pulling away..

I can not believe they had so little concern for their CHILD , as well as just plain courteous behavior for someone that was kind enough to sit with their kid so they could go party!!! When ever I left my child, which was RARE, I was always fortunate enough to have a close family member babysit.....but I still called at the very least, ONCE or TWICE during the evening to be sure she didnt need anything and that everything was OK. To not even call and check on their child, then to show up....3-4 hours late, and with no explanation,....there is a word for that but my flu affected brain isnt quite cleared up yet and I can not think of it....

| YT 1000 Club Member | Thanks for your input. I try to be considerate of certain situations but when I spoke with her yesterday afternoon she came clean and said she was drinking and having fun dancing and time just flew. . I don't have a problem watching others children because it keeps my son occupied where he isn't asking me questions every 5 mins but that just took the cake. When we have kids we have to forfeit our carefree attitude and not calling to check on a child is just foreign to me. So no I won't be babysitting for her anymore. |
