| Camp Bow Wow Winston and I are going for an interview at Camp Bow Wow today. They require him to have a breakaway collar on, so I reluctantly got him a kitten one that has no clip for a leash so they cant attach one to it if they wanted to. Im just curious if they'll still let him wear his sweater and harness or if he has to be naked besides the collar? What have your experiences been with daycare places? I'm just hoping they're at least willing to put his harness on before going outside to go potty or this may be a no-go all together.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I hope it goes well! I would think they'd allow a harness, esp if you explained the yorkie trachea issues, ya know? If they wouldn't allow it after learning that, I'd be really disappointed. Let us knows how it goes!

| We've been using Camp Bow Wow here for almost four years, and love it. Camp Bow Wow here does not allow collars like the one you described. I asked about why they had to have a break-away collar (they sell the ones that are required to give you an example), and was told that in the case of an emergency (fire), it's easier to link the dogs together in order to get them out quickly. No, they will not put on harnesses in the case of an emergency, when time is of the essence. I don't want Ian to have a leash attached to his collar either, but I do understand their point. I don't want him to have any issues with his trachea, nor do I want him to have any delays in exiting the facility...stuck between a rock and a hard place. Hope this helps.

| They will allow your baby to wear a sweater (without a hood) if you request that. They will even put on your baby's sweater if they/you think your puppy is cold. If it is really cold out, they will close the outdoor area so they have to stay inside where it is warm. Remember, you have get the app so that you can watch your baby while he's there. You can view until 7p, which is bedtime, if he is spending the night. The one thing that really concerns me is that no one is there with them after 7p, until they open in the morning!! That really concerns me.
