| ![]() I'd rather have someone tell me they'll buy me a dog or help me pay for one and let me pick it out myself. My mom helped me pay for Lola as my Christmas and Birthday gift. My aunt and cousin tried to get my grandmom to buy or rescue a dog. They were on her pretty consistently for a few months until we finally convinced them she really doesn't want a dog. She's happy being a great grandmom to Lola, she gets all the puppy love without most of the responsibility or financial commitment. It would have been really bad if they had bought her a dog without her knowledge as a gift. |
