| It's a bit hard to tell from that angle- do you have any other pictures? She definitely looks like she's yorkie-mix at the least

| At one year of age, I would expect the hair color to be lighter. This looks like a Yorkie with a puppy coat. I can't see the ears very well in this photo... |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | If you REALLY want to make sure, you can purchase a wisdom panel #2 via Amazon.com. Better to spend $72 through Amazon.com rather than than $200 through my ex-vet. That is how I discovered what the breeds were for our new addition to the family, Deva. She is 50% Rat Terrier, 25% miniature poodle and 25% Heinz 57. I had to know so I knew more of her particular breed and what to expect positive and negative. Starlette

| Its hard to tell with it from the side but from what I can see she does. My yorkie is 17 pounds and has floppy ears. Some dogs ears are just to big to stand or have to be trained by taping to stand and I didn't know about that when Callie was a puppy but I wouldn't do that to her anyway. Tell people its none of there business and just ignore them. Back when yorkies where raters they where around 20 pounds.

| first of all, WELCOME TO YT!! Second, please do not listen to anyone about what your baby is or isn't. Not all yorkies look alike whether in size, coat color, coat texture, ear placement, muzzle size, etc. All it means is that she has a different look. Some people will try to tell you what your dog is or isn't and there's no convincing them. Bottom line is she's your PERFECT baby. She makes you happy, and fills your days with joy. My baby looks a lot like your baby. He's 5 years old, has the dark coloring, floppy ears, thick coat that grows crazy fast, and... People swear he's not a Yorkie. It doesn't matter that I have his AKC papers at home. I've learned to ignore it, because it doesn't matter what a random person we meet on our walk thinks. My off standard Yorkie boy is my world and he makes me happy.

| Keno is 3 years old, same dark coloring, ears that neither stand up our flop, more like half mast. He is 14 lbs. Akc registered and I too have been told he is not pure yorkie. And yes has a beautiful silky coat that has never matted and grows like crazy. Oh well I think he is perfect and he thinks I am perfect so we make a great pair! |

YT 1000 Club Member | At one time, the database for DNA was limited. That was several years ago, and Wisdom has a very good reputation now. It's a very simple Oral Swab process and they send you a very nice certificate of the results. Like this... Ancestry Certification Certificate Photo by SWHouston_bucket | Photobucket

| I don't know, but my guess is yes...Yorkie. Can't go by color, Winston is very dark and he ain't no puppy. Ears can be up or down...and the size seems probable. Just love her for what she is precious!!!

| The only opinion that counts here is yours, shes beautifull, all yorkies are different, some big, some small, some curlish hair some straight and silky, as long as your baby is beautifull in your eyes!! enjoy her ! |
