Oh you'd be surprised what's out there. Also even with papers, unless with a championship under his belt, no reputable person/breeder would want to use your dog as a stud, only a money grubber.
I had a friend who studded out their gorgeous champion dog to people just for the cash, very unpleased about it, but what can you do, even though he used all precautions and tests prior to studding. He paid the large fee for breeding rights and after a few years and a few bucks, gave the dog away. I was devastated to hear this.
