| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Well, dog food is just 'human food' in kibble form...so no, in theory, 'human food' isn't bad for them at all. What IS bad is an unbalanced diet...that can actually be dangerous to their health. If you're kind of asking about homecooking for your dog, it can be done, but to do it right isn't easy. You can get custom recipes made by a Vet nutritionist though, which is much safer than just winging it or getting recipes somewhere online. BalanceIt is one place you can get custom recipes.

| Hi Wylie's Mom, I've read your signature and been going over & over again cause I love famous quotes & sayings yet I've yet understood what it means. Is it just a play on the golden rule phrase or is it something meant to teach us something. I'm not quite sure what it's trying to achieve,..would you care to divulge please? ![]() ~ How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours Last edited by apple718; 03-12-2014 at 12:17 PM. |

For example, if someone here treats you like crap -- they've then created their own crap karma to deal with. But YOUR 'karma' (or whatever you prefer to call it) comes from how you react to that crap -- if you react back in the same crappy way - you've now dove down into the muck and joined in the crap, creating your own crappy karma/energy. However if you take the high road instead, your 'karma' is clear, good, happy, pure....so, how you react is always your karma to own. In other words, you create your own reality by your reactions to others' actions, no matter how low others may stoop. You are always in charge of whether you allow others' actions to control YOUR reactions. Does that make better sense?
