| Tails goes in for surgery tomorrow I am trying not to be worried but our newest member Tails in going in for a major dental cleaning (probably a few extractions) and a lump removal tomorrow. I already love him though the transition from 2 to 3 dogs had been harder than I expected. Tails is sweet and gets along with every one but Chibi has been super emotional and Molli is growling at him. I could use some advise from people with 3 dogs on how they are able to make sure every one feels loved and gets attention.

| Good lucks Tails you will do great! There's always a transitional period when you add one you guys will get into a groove. The nice thing about 3 is you can take one out and you don't have to feel bad about leaving one home alone.

| Prayers for Tails... My advice? Lol... get one more... that way the hate gets divided... two can still be chummy and the new one will be friends with the 3rd addition.

| I'm sure your little guy will be tried after his surgery. You may want to keep him away from the other dogs until he gets his energy level back to normal. I hope all goes well for you and your babies. |

| Praying for Tails that all goes well today. To promote good will between the 3 doggies, try involving them in activities together like trick training and playing fetch. Walking all 3 together might be tough, so try taking Tails with one of the others and switch off. Doing simple obedience commands like "sit" for small treats (I use kibble), can help focus them on working and doing things together.

| Thanks for all the healing thoughts and wise words. Tails had 10 teeth removed ! Thankfully they were all incisors so after he is done healing up he can go back to eating hard food. He is a little groggy so he is sleeping now but seems to be ok. They forgot to look at his eyes (they are a bit cloudy) and forgot to check his lump on his shoulder but I can always bring him back, plus it was free so We started calling him Tails because he is the only yorkie we have who has a tail and its funny because it hits on things and is always wagging in the other dogs faces
