| I didnt get the feeling that you were bashing this woman. I would be disguisted about this dogs health. Or lack of. Either way. I agree no one knows her situation. Although no matter what my circumstances are. The moment I realized I was unable to give the best to my dog. I would seek out ways in which I could make that possible. Not wait until my dog had rotting teeth. That does not happen over a course of a couple weeks. Actually more so like months and sometimes up to years. So THANK you for having the heart to take in this dog. I will keep all in the situation in my prayers.

| Hey everyone. Sorry didn't get back to everyone sooner. I did pick up the little Yorkie girl. Who didn't end up being little at all! She's ten pounds! The little chunky monkey. I need to get her to lose 2-3lbs according to the vet. I got an estimate on her spay ~ which will end up being around $357. And her teeth, around $800. Half of them are missing and everytime I see into her mouth it breaks my heart. They won't know if she will need any extractions done until she has her X-rays done during her dental surgery (while under her anesthetic) so it might be even more costly. I am not sure now which to go ahead with first. The dental or the spay. Her and Lou'e are getting along...somewhat. It has only been one day. She is very affectionate. She is taking Lou'e's toys away from him and I need to try and spend a little more time with him though..right? I don't want him getting mad or jealous. They have played together a few times. We will see how they get along as the days go by. We have had a few accidents but other then that she goes on the pee pad. Usually right on top where Lou'e goes. She's a sweet doll. Today she goes to the groomers to get all dolled up for Thanksgiving. ) |

| Very cute. Deal with her teeth before getting her spayed, that should be priority one. Bad teeth lead to disease. Putting off spaying for a year or until you have the funds has much less negative impact on her. Best of luck and know that you are a good person for helping out this poor neglected animal(who by the way looks great in the pic). Last edited by JAYF; 10-17-2013 at 05:32 AM. |

| I took this pic of her after I took her to the groomer, who had her groomed up for me for free. She looked (for lack of a better word) homeless before - that's what my boyfriend said. |
