| I keep looking at them, and have even had them in the cart a couple of times, but they just don't seem like they are worth the trouble. I'm glad I'm not the only one giving their Yorkie Smart Water. Gina has 2 water bowls, and since I drink Smart Water at home all the time, Gina drinks it as well. We do have one of the bowls with the water bottle that you have to fill up, then attach to the base. With 3 cats, it gets emptied within about 2 to 3 days. I always wash the bowl out, and refill the bottle from the fridges filtered water. Gina will drink from this every now and then, But I think she prefers the Smart Water, in her metal bowls to the other water bowl for the cats. Cheers Quad

| Thanks. I decided against. Thanks. I do have a water converter in their crate. I do like that.

| Fountains look nice but if you are not cleaning them out regularly they are just circulating dirty water. Animals use their mouths to drink and many times have food particles on their mouth when they drink so water gets bacteria build up quickly. Sometimes pets don't drink as much as they should because their water source is contaminated. People may put clean water in but many times they fail to deal with the invisible bacteria build up that their pet is very aware of. Dogs have slimy like mouths to begin with and that goes into the water every time they drink. I have found that glass water bowls work best for us. They wash up very easily and do not absorb contaminants or odors. We don't cage our pets so we don't use drinking bottles. |
