| ![]() Zoey is 5 months and weighs 2.04 lbs! A true joy! I told my hubby every time I hold her it's like Christmas. One day I was cleaning up her pen area and he smiles and says "Still feel like Christmas?" I smiled back and said yeeeeeesssss 😉 |

| ![]() Tibbe loves his training and does come, sit, stand, lie down, play dead, roll-back-stay(roll over on back and lie there), stay/wait, growl and bark and quiet on command plus whine on command, high fives each foot, shake paws each foot, wave with left paw, rollover once or multiple times in a row, jump over a stick or through hoop once or many times in a row, crate-up on command, lie down/relax(lies down with head between paws), stay in your yard(he's not left his front yard in 5 years off leash); paws up(stand up and place paw where I touch); watch me; bite or kiss my finger on command; leave it; take it and last but not least - sit up and beg! Cutest of all. He kind of leans to the left side when he does this for some reason and he was so wobbly, it took months to build up the muscles to allow him to sit up and stay and hold it. FINALLY he got there. Then he added the crossed-paw up-and-down begging that he does at times when sitting up. It's adorable and I'm tempted to leave him the house and 401k in the will every time I see him sit up and beg with his crossed-paws going up and down. We were working on play bow but he acted as if that bothered his shoulder so we stopped that. Tibbe loves training more than eating or going outside or anything. He is always working to get me to train him whether it's time or not! He's a bully about it sometimes and so growly to get me involved he'll start rolling over and sitting up and begging all on his own to show me how cute he can be and don't I want to start training so I can see all that cuteness. And I do so we train and he does all his tricks and gets his treats and praise and he loves all the adoration and things I tell him about how smart he is. He is a big ham and loves all the attention his tricks bring him and he loves letting me know he understands what I want him to do. That's really big for him to let me know he's knows what I want. And then my job is to let him know how very, very smart and clever he is and make over him. I'll get barked at if I don't do my part and come up with the treats and enough praise so I have to work hard to measure up! I've said many times - Tibbe would sell his little soul to get attention and praise and to be the center of attention.

| ![]() Love all the tricks!!! I was doing fairly well with Bevo until we added 3 more all within 6 months of each other. The boys can sit, stay, lie down, fetch, and be quiet. Jaxon learned to roll over very quickly and will roll continuously anytime he wants something! Bryleigh who is a little over 2 years, has finally learned to sit. She just doesn't "get" training. We laugh because she is such a tiny baby (2.4 pounds) that her brain just isn't big enough to absorb commands!

| ![]() In addition to the basic commands, Liberty has perfected the following tricks: twirl (turn 360 degrees on hind legs), "find" the cell phone (really helpful), give kisses (jose to nose), slap me four (instead of five), ....., and my favorite [drum roll here]: ********Patty cake to the song all the way up to the phrase ending in "for baby and me"*********!!! Most of the time he will alternate paws when I do, but not consistently yet. |

| ![]() I love reading about all of y'all's dogs and their tricks. They are all so smart (and cute). I've been looking for new ones to teach Kiko. She knows sit, stand, down, over, play dead, bow, sit up, stand up (on 2 legs), high five, give me your paw, give me the other one, speak, spin, get your toy, bring it, give it to me, drop it, leave it, wait/go, off, and does a good sit stay with minor distractions and is getting pretty good at coming when called. She also understands some words and phrases and gestures like want to go for a walk or just walk she even recognizes W, wanna carrot or just carrot, ready for bed?, go to bed, and if I point and tell her to go she will walk in the direction I point. She also knows hurry up means go potty. |

| ![]() Wow these are some smart Yorkies! Elena has mastered sit, down, stay, come, shake, spin, stand up, and jump but she really does not like to roll over! I have to put my hand on her back or she will stand up when I do the motion and say roll over.. My other Yorkie Strawberry used to be able to catch a treat in her mouth and do lots of tricks but she is 16 so she can't hear or see very well anymore.
