| Presurgery Blood Work/dental Cleaning Can someone tell me an average of what it costs for presurgery blood work? Muffie is scheduled for dental cleaning in 2 weeks. The dental cleaning itself is $110 but that doesn't include the pain medication afterwards or some to take home. If she has any teeth that need to be pulled, I'm sure there'll be a added cost for that. Oh me! We sure do love our Yorkies, don't we? I'll be glad when Muffie is through with this. We have been neglectful of her teeth as she's 10-1/2 years old. Now we know what to do with Missy's teeth, she's only 12 weeks old. We've learned a lesson here with Muffie. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

| Sorry, no idea about the cost of the blood work. I hope Muffie does well. When Jasper passed at 12 years, I think he only had about 3 teeth left and his tongue hung out all the time, too cute. Neither one of my pups would let me do their teeth, and they both had to have some removed over the years. Jasper had baaaad teeth, Angels were much better, and she only lost about 4 over her lifetime. Neither one had any troubles with the surgeries, and there was no pain meds necessary afterwards. And Jasper still ate kibble! He just gummed it more!
