| I posted their interview the day it happened. Another thing that saddens me is that they can't even get animal control involved according to the video in our area . Springfield groomer is fired after she throws dog into wall, killing it; couple is devastated - ky3.com That is the video of when it happened.

| I would be going to jail, plain and simple. If the groomer thought that she feared for her life from a little pup. Try an angry/crazed furbaby mommie. This is why noone handles my dogs grooming but me. |

![]() Petsmart has a big picture window where you can stand and watch the grooming. Bathing is another thing, that is done in the back. I go to small local groomer for basic stuff like feet and nails, do the rest myself, but I sit and wait & can stand at the half-door and watch. If you use petsmart, just bathe him yourself then stand and watch. They can see you watching. I have never had any trouble with our local petsmart. They do a good job, but all I ever have there is the "touch up package".

| after I posted I was thinking about the petsmart window. But I was wondering if you drop them off for just a cut do they do that right away. I know some groomers can keep your pup half a day or longer.

| I can't believe someone could be so horrible! And how in the world could anyone "fear for their life" with a 8 lb Maltese. I won't even post what should be done to this woman! |

| I feel like I can't escape from hearing about animal cruelty, just this morning the news reported of a fox terrier found wondering around a park that had been partially skinned alive. The poor dog is in critical condition at an ER vet in Ann Arbor MI. I have felt sick since yesterday after readying this thread along with several other disturbing ones on YT and now this fox terrier, it just so sad, my heart hurts.

| What a sad story!!! It begs the question - how many others are we not aware of? It sure makes me want to groom my own. I was sort of thinking of doing this before... and now I will definitely do this on my own. My Bailey is 7.4 lbs and I pay $50 Cdn. for grooming (nails cut included)!! Apart from the expense, I certainly would be beside myself if this happened to me. So sorry for that couple... how awful!! |

| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Makes me sick to my stomach . I'm so glad we don't go to groomers. I realize most groomers are wonderful...but to me, it's not worth the risk...not even for 1 second.

| Those poor people, they should be posting a photo of the groomer so no one at an animal clinic or shelter hires her. The poor wee dog |

| It's disturbing to see how many stories like this their are. The hospital should be held responsible, and they should have done everything possible to save that poor dog. I find it a bit odd that the owners of the dog still praise the vet and are getting another puppy this week.
