| Jackson is an escape artist also. So when I take him and Bella out to play in the pen, I have to keep an eye on him or go get him. I have considered using a tarp with bungees, cause I'm thinking he would try to climb in between the tarp and pen. They are such little stinkers, or little farts and big stinkers. |

| That is the exact one I just ordered with the top :-) I'm so excited to get it !!!! I found the best price for the pen and the top for it on amazon. It's the one I linked to in my previous post. Glad to know it works as well as it looks, thank you xoxo |

| Again, I just think 8 months or 9 months old is plenty old enough not to have to be penned. If you trust him to use his pee pad or wait to go out and he's not in an area he could mess up (carpet or something you worry about like that)...I'd just leave him out.

| I have decided to do this unless he starts having accidents. Today went fine. I just came in and he peed forever when I took him out. So he must be holding it. I have his favorite welcome pee mat out. So he can use that if he needs to. It doesn't appear that he did thought. I also think this works best for Anna and Max. They are older and he is constantly trying to play with them. This way they don't have to put up with his shenanigans while we're gone.

| I so wish this were true for my 9 mo. old Hannah! She chews on everything including my base boards and furniture! I'm wondering if this will stop when I have baby teeth pulled???

YT Addict | My mom's Yorkie-poo is an escape artist too. She has figured out how to use her paw to rattle her kennel latches and open the doors. So now my mom has to put the door side towards the wall which has stopped it. You must love how smart they are! |

We have been lucky so far. Barney is not a destructive chewer. Our first yorkie, Charlie did not grow out of that until he was around 2. We buy Barney circle bully rings. They seem to satisfy that need to chew.

| can you post the video so we can have a wee giggle, I'd just leave him out. My boys have access to my entire apartment except the bedroom when I'm at work, they pretty much wrestle and sleep |

| I would be afraid of leaving Gizmo alone, as we have open stairs going to our second story. That's why unless I can watch him at all times , he's in his pen, which is not much, except at night. He's still just a baby though at 3 months old :-) |

| my home is just too big to let jess roam when we are not home. I also have four kids who leave things everywhere. So the Richell pen worked great for the first 6 months. She now stays in the mud room in a playpen when we are gone. Plenty of room to move around two beds (one open, one in a crate) food water and pee pad. She is much happier now (she was in the richell for 8 weeks when she broke her leg so she is kind of over it so we just use it as a pee area. I think Im going to sell it if anyone in the VA beach area is looking for one. |
