| ![]() I change the potty pads in Lola's playpen all the time. Because she is shut in there sometimes and has to be near it, I keep it perfectly clean always. With the four I leave out on the floor ( yes 4, Teddy misses!) I change them once per day. It's a lot of potty pads, but so much easier for me than cleaning up pee. |

| ![]() I have 2 pads out. I change them about 1-2 times a day b/c Magnus potty outside for the most part. I change them first thing in the morning if the pad's more than 50% soiled. Also, I buy in bulks. I believe I bought 400 pads for about $79.00 back in April. I think I still have more than 200 left. |

| ![]() I buy them on amazon for $18 for 150 count. My husband thought I was crazy when we received 6 gigantic boxes left at our door lol, so many you could barely see the front door haha. I guess I must be a little OCD , because I change them a good 4 to 5 times a day. Or maybe it's Gizmo that is OCD, and hes peeing and pooping to get those extra trets lol. |

| ![]() Hey that was my explanation too hahaha. It's better to have to many than run out, that is my motto, and I'm sticking to it :-) |

| ![]() There's a huge difference in the absorbency & size of potty pads. I pay about $32 for 150 on Amazon & they're the best I've found. Also, size of dog, number of dogs, how often they go outdoors-it all makes a big difference. It sure helps that my sister takes Dolly & Teena out first thing every morning. That alone saves me a potty pad every day.

| ![]() With Gizmo, he can't go out yet because he still needs 2 more sets of shots, as he's only had the first set since I rescued him, so he's inside all the time right now. We also live in a 2 story condo right at the beach, and it's actually 3 stories high because the first floor is parking. We also do not have a yard here, only common areas where animals are not allowed out in by the HOA. Once he has all of his shots, we have an amazing little dog park right at the beach that is leash on only. So once he gets his shots all over with, he'll have lots of fun going to the dog park, and walks at the beach. Also sometimes, Gizmo gets in moods where once he goes on it, that's it lol, e will refuse to go on it again till he gets a new one :-) they absorb great, I just like to keep them nice for him since he's only 11 weeks old and I'm potty training. They can have anywhere from 1 potty to 3 potties on a pad, depending on him and what he's wanting :-) |

| ![]() I have to change mine every time they use them... They ball them up once they have been used, so they don't use them more than twice (at most). I am thinking of switching to washables once I run out of disposables... It would be more cose effective!

| ![]() I was also thinking of switching to the washables, my only worry with that, is that he might associate those with other fabrics in my house. Plus all the extra laundry lol. I'm not sure my husband would like that part, as I am a partial paraplegic, do my dear husband does the laundry. |

| ![]() Can you give me the brand name or product number? That price is fantastic. The ones I use are by Prevail. Thank you.

| ![]() It varies for us. I take mine out fairly often so the pad doesn't get used as much during the day. But if I see 4 or 5 spots, I will generally change it. My pads are much larger however, I want to say something like 30 x 40? I get the pads from Sams club for people.

| ![]() We got 100 pee pads from Meijer for $20 and from Kroger for $16, not sure if its as good as the expensive ones from pet store. My pup uses it during the day in his pen when we are gone. So I change 1 to 2 pads a day. |

| ![]() you guys (I mean gals) are all awesome ... so many great replies. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks about this stuff .... my XGF used to buy the large "human" pads from SAM's as well and they worked well for Zadie (we had a Coco as well a mixture of something) .. when this batch runs out I'll take ride out to SAM's and get them .. I think I'll be able to get away with one big one in the bathroom eventually .. I have 4 in a big square right now ... I'd love to have her trained to go outside but being on the 4th floor its not the same as opening the door and letting her go ... maybe when she's older and she can hang on for a good amount of time ... Does any one else's fur babies pee almost 100% on the pads but more times than not the poop ends up to the side or sometimes next to the toilet .... she at least has the concept of pooping in the bathroom and not in the rest of the house :-)
