Just a word of caution! Bird poop is FULL of bacteria. We have an inground pool and every year when we first open it, the water is brown and disgusting, the ducks land in it to swim bc they think it's a pond. Well they hang out in the pool area and poop on the ground. One year both my dogs were horribly sick. Throwing up, massive amounts of bloody diarrhea, etc.... took them to the vets and they asked if they were around or near birds or could have eaten their poop. I remembered the ducks and thought maybe but I didn't see it happen. The vet told me that ingesting bird poop is bad for them, very bad! They were both on antibiotics for 10 days, both were really very sick! Poor babies! Don't let your pups near the duck poop, better safe than sorry!

Dogs don't have the same "perception" of odors as do we. Acts of assimilating available odors, is their attempt to "blend" into the environment. Better equipped to hide and pounce when well scented. Something that is a natural instinct for them. Frequently, we exacerbate that, when we bathe them with scented materials.

| Again... I'm so ever thankful to my M/Z for not having the urge or at least controlling their urges to roll in any kind of poop! I do see Zoey trying to roll in something on the sidewalk sometimes.. but there's nothing visible there. I really want to ask her what she think she's rolling in! |

| Interesting - Jack is always trying to rub on the weed killer we use in the driveway - of course we don't let him, but he tries.
