Oh my goodness...oh my goodness!!! What kissable little faces! You and Lola done good, Joyce, and Linda, great pix of those little baby kids! I hope the vet gives the go-ahead for Mommy Lola to tend her babies again...so much better for all of them, and it means Mommy Lola is better, too! What a story!! I just read the whole thread! What an amazing person you are! Tips on bottle feeding....I once bottle fed a litter of 7 pug babies from birth and all survived. I bought MANY bottles and would premake bottles and refridgerate them. I learned to feed 2 at a time as they had to be fed every 3 hours. Hubby and I would take turns throughout the night. I used a weird formula consisting of goats milk, karo syrup and a scoop of human baby formula. Must have done the trick because all were fat, healthy babies. Good luck and I will be thinking and praying for ya!

Update on Lola: Vet check came out good..No surgery!! She is back to nursing her pups again and bad breast is covered!! She is very happy to be back with her pups even though she helped clean their bottoms every time I fed. The funny thing was she would take a nap while I fed all 7. Thats right 7 20 min. naps! I will sleep good tonight!

Note to self: Never buy powered formula again!! It clogged the nipples on the bottles! I've nursed a lot of animals; birds, kittens, puppies, horses, rabbits..you name it and have never had a problem but this time..oh la la!

I had it all down pad except for feeding more than one at a time. I even cut out the fingers of a glove and put 3 bottles in it and that just didn't work for me. Tip of the hat to you for feeding 2 at a time! My DH refused to help me feed. He helped with 3 kittens once and I've never been able to get him to help with that part again!

Have you given any thought as to what kind of mix they may be? It'll be fun to watch them grow.

You are too sweet! Lola looks like a Border Terrior mix. The Daddy's...one pup looks like the Pitbull behind my shop, one pup looks like a Rot/Lab mix that comes around sometimes, one looks like a German Shepherd mix that comes around so who really knows. I did not see the dogs that bred her. I wish I had! I will probably be able to tell more as the pups get older but then I would just be guessing. I can't wait for them to open their eyes!!!!!
