How big are the pups now? Any guess what their mix is, or how big they will get?

Wish I could see photos. Does the Rescue Org. have photos on a website?

They are weighing right at 4lbs. except for the runt, Misty. She is closer to 3.0. Yes there are photos on the rescue facebook page if you google GulfCoastStars. There are before and after adoption photos. Look for them by names...Caddy, Ping, Misty, Birdie & Putt. Not sure what the dad(s) are but Lola is a Border Terrior mix best I can tell. They look like they may have Chihuahua in them. I'm sure they will be small/med dogs probably maxing out at 12-16 lbs. but only time will tell. I tried to down load new photos here but had trouble the last time. I'll try again in between working...

Ok, I hunted down photos from the rescue and came up with this page that shows 4 of them toward the middle: Lake Jackson, Texas - dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens for adoption from Gulf Coast & Southern Texas Animal Rescue.

Now I'll try to upload the photos I took off that page. Joyce, they look so cute and healthy, and I love all that you have done for them.

So cute to hear that Birdie's new "Dad" wants her to go on their family trip, instead of waiting till they get back home! Men often end up being the biggest Yorkie/dog lovers! My own husband grouched around our house for a month after I brought Taffy home (surprise!) from my friend/breeder's house. He had always been as guy who said he 'only liked kittens & cats' (outdoors!) at our rural home.
Well, that was 3 years ago, and my Hubby & our Yorkie are really well bonded by now! Taffy gets so excited when Mike gets home from work now that instead of just excited barks, he often makes all these cute little yips and gurgley whines as if he is trying so hard to talk to Mike. They share his lounge chair during sports shows and Taffy will "howl" when prompted for homeruns & touchdowns.
I think I can guess who will end up spoiling Birdie the most..His "Dad!" Ha!
You have done such a fantastic job with this whole rescue! LOL, Sue & Taffy

Thanks for posting the pics. What cuties!! So glad to hear that the pups are doing sooo well and that you are able to find good homes for a couple of them. How wonderful of you to give your love (and money) so unconditional. Good karma for sure. Cheers!

They are just so darn cute, I had to see them again. You saving them was such a heartwarming story.

Gosh that rescue sure doesn't charge much for adoption for all they include, and I just know that these are some of the sweetest loving puppies anyone could ever find.

Misty, the runt of the litter was adopted this past Monday to a wonderful and loving family. She will be living Large if you know what I mean! She will travel (fly) with her family and I see Italy in her future not to mention Doggie Day Care and a weekly trip to the Groomer. Her new mom is home all day long and her new 14 yr. old brother says she (Misty)will be there to pick him up from school everyday. I was able to experience her 1st time out in her new backyard and I can say that she loved it! She has never been on grass but she knew exactly what to do and I got tickled when she chased her 1st bug ever! Putt was with us and I really think he was sad to leave his little sister behind. He usually cries in the car but never made a sound on the 45 min. ride home. Needless to say I cried for the both us but my promise to Putt is that I will find his forever home too. He now cries a little but Hannah is there to keep him occupied. She is the best little service dog!! All the pups just loved her.

How awesome! I'd like to travel as well. Do you think that they would adopt a cute human woman?? ;) HAHA Oh, but if that means I'd have to stay in doggie daycare, hmmmm that would be very interesting. I was going over some of their videos last night and had to laugh at Putt. He would come up close to my phone and his little head was tilting from side to side. I'll make sure he adjust to being without his siblings. You are right about the adoption fees and I have supplied all of my pups with food, snacks, new toys, blankets and collars. They were afterall my babies first. ;) The rescue group is wonderful. I'm not sure if the fee is the same if someone turns over a pure bred but good question. They are the sweetest loving and I have been around a lot of puppies in my lifetime.. I know I did the right thing and am so grateful to everyone here that has cheered me and the pups on. So many of you have come back to this thread to check on them & Lola and I really appreciate that from the bottom of my heart!!!

Right!! I want to go to Italy! I might even do Doggie Day Care!;) Her new family is a 1 doggie kind of family but they are thinking about her and what she might want to do. How cool is that!!

Thank you Sue! So Taffy(love the name) is a football fan. How cute! I bet Mike just eats that up! I'd love to see his friends faces when she does that!
