Bless you for all you are doing for Lola and the pups. The pups are the cutest little things. |
Oh my goodness...oh my goodness!!! What kissable little faces! You and Lola done good, Joyce, and Linda, great pix of those little baby kids! Thank you so much for everything you are doing for these fur babies. I hope the vet gives the go-ahead for Mommy Lola to tend her babies again...so much better for all of them, and it means Mommy Lola is better, too! Take care...I hope you get to sleep soon! {{{Hugs}}} |
Such precious little bundles of love!! Bless you! |
What a story!! I just read the whole thread! What an amazing person you are! Tips on bottle feeding....I once bottle fed a litter of 7 pug babies from birth and all survived. I bought MANY bottles and would premake bottles and refridgerate them. I learned to feed 2 at a time as they had to be fed every 3 hours. Hubby and I would take turns throughout the night. I used a weird formula consisting of goats milk, karo syrup and a scoop of human baby formula. Must have done the trick because all were fat, healthy babies. Good luck and I will be thinking and praying for ya! |
Wow the puppies are so adorable! Hope Lola will be able to nurse the puppies again & you can get some much needed rest! |
So cute!!! Thanks for the pics, Joyce & Linda. They all look so fat and healthy. Hope Lola recovers quickly from her infection & rupture. Poor thing! Good work Joyce! I know you are exhausted, but the pups look fantastic.:good job: |
Thanks for the pictures!!! They are all adorable little angels! I want one!! |
Just checking in to see how Lola and the puppies are doing. I hope Lola can nurse them soon. Linda! Thanks for the photos! The one of the little one with his head stuck in a pocket is the absolute cutest thing!! |
Update on Lola: Vet check came out good..No surgery!! She is back to nursing her pups again and bad breast is covered!! She is very happy to be back with her pups even though she helped clean their bottoms every time I fed. The funny thing was she would take a nap while I fed all 7. Thats right 7 20 min. naps! I will sleep good tonight! Note to self: Never buy powered formula again!! It clogged the nipples on the bottles! I've nursed a lot of animals; birds, kittens, puppies, horses, rabbits..you name it and have never had a problem but this time..oh la la! |

It's been a few days since I last caught up in this thread and all I can say is "Wow!" You are definitely a guardian angel to Lola and those sweet pups. |

What a relief that Lola is improving and can once again nurse her pups. Hope all goes well from here on out, and that you can catch up on rest. |
