| Could you clarify? Message said she was "a dog/puppy flipping"? What is "a dog/puppy flipping"? Was it trying to accuse HER of dog/puppy flipping? Who sent the message?

| Not sure who sent it to her. Trying to get full details. Basically, the message said her name was linked to the sale of dogs. I think dog/puppy flipping is when you buy a pet for a low price and try to sell it for a higher price. |

| I think it could also mean you steal dog’s and sell them, or you respond to Missing Pet ads- take the pet as they are yours and then sell them.

| I know what dog flipping is just didn't understand your syntax in that post. So someone was calling her a dog flipper? If she thinks sending the message malicious in intent and intended to libel her somehow and that others could have seen it, she needs to contact the venue through which it was sent to see what relief they can offer. I take it she is not a dog flipper and should investigate how she is being tied to that despicable practice and try to correct it by going on various sites and posting notices, emails, Tweets, Facebook statements, etc. If she can't find out who went the message and set them straight, then just flooding online sites with denials and making folks aware she is not flipping dogs may be all she can do. If she keeps getting the messages, she needs to alert the authorities as it could be a stalker or something.

Do you have any idea why your friend would get a message like this? Is she trying to sell a dog?

| And dog flipping is not just stealing/selling a dog. Some people claim lost dogs as theirs or dogs being given away/rehomed for free and then turn around and sell them to just anyone for money. Or buy a dog dirt cheap off the side of the road or from a neighbor, friend and sell it for a profit, uncaring of what kind of home it's going into.

| Your friend does need to try to get to the bottom of this if at all possible and see how far it's gone.

| She is not selling or buying a dog. That is why it is so weird and upsetting. |

| We'd assumed that or likely you wouldn't be talking about it; therefore even moreso, your friend needs to find out what is going on, who/why sent it and how many got the message and if it's online or shared elsewhere.
