| They will change colors, from what I hear, for up to 2 years. I think they can continue to grow/fill out thru 18 months or so. Enjoy the ride. I know Mandie is still changing and she's 1 year and 3 months

| They can change colors up until like 2 or 3 years old. Callie got shaved around maybe 6 or 7 months old and it was adult hair after that. Have you tried taking her poop and putting it outside where you want her to go? Potty training is tough you really have to be on it and take them out like every hours and watch them constantly. Weight is just a number really there is no perfect weight your dog should be at this time it will but what it will be puppy's don't get fat there are yorkies on this board from 2-20 pounds. They can grow up to year and after that they just fill out a little.

| Colors do change as they get older. He has a totally white face? That is kind of unusual. I have seen them get white spots on the top of their head above the eyes but a totally white face is different. Generally pups start to get their adult coats at around 10 months of age. They can have some shading changes though. I have always found that some good fast paced walks help get a dog's bowls to move. Getting the heart rate and lungs moving help move everything else along. They tend to like to pee more when out walking as well. Don't know how I would have survived Gracie's puppy months without some good long walks and games of fetch to help with the potty training and the energy level. |

| I just acquired a 6 month old and dealing with the poop thing. I've just started taking tiny treats out with me so when he pees or poops I will give him one. But that poop thing is tough. I need to be better at taking his poop outside so maybe that might help. |

| My friend has a morkie and if my memory serves me correct, it sounds like your baby's color might be same as London (friend's morkie). He's over 3 years old and his coat is mostly white with light grey on the back. I think he's about... 10 lbs or so. Also, it took them a while to get him potty trained. How often are you taking him outside for potty? Is it just poop or wee wee too? I think b/c of their size, Magnus and Zoey have somewhat different schedule(?). So I have pee pads stationed at a designated room for her. Magnus won't use it unless he REALLY has to. |

YT 1000 Club Member | Thank you for your kind words... I often try to throw some moderately jovial comment into the Forum. Even a chuckle could brighten up someone's day. I think that's why so many here think my Posts are laughable !

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Hello and welcome to YT. I agree it is about 2 years the coat color can change. I just put the poop at a spot where you want him to go. I also try to bring him to the same place to go potty all the time. They eat their scent there and they will go in the same place. I am also just bringing him out to potty. There is no playing outside until he starts to understand outside potty. Then play. I also ring treats outside with me. As soon as he does something I make a big deal. And give him a treat. It is amazing when they realize. Poop gets them a treat !
