Oh the fanciest most precious thing I have is Alfie. He does surely know when fun time is, we get in the door, take his jammies off, brush him and off to the park for running and fetching ball. I really do think he sleeps most of the day, our son calls most days at lunch and Alfie is in one of his beds, he has a mattress on our front window sill and that is where he is when we come home.

I love it! Sounds like Alfie is a beloved little guy who gets a lot of the good things dogs adore about life. We doglovers always put them first and then go about wedging in getting our chores and bill-paying done after the dog is down for the night. When I worked part time, many a time I've been up after midnight doing the washing and getting caught up on opening the mail so I could spend a large part of the evening doing things with Tibbe. It's hard to offer the best life for a dog when you work but if you put the doggie first, it's doable.

Oh boy well now you know you must pen him if your not watching him. Don't just put in a room. Pen him. We had a big dog pup I put in a bathroom in our newly built first home and it ATE THE BATHROOM. Literally. :-0

I haven't read this thread to the DH yet. Of course, all of the floors are bare now and ready for nice, new carpet and flooring next week. I still can not believe all of these sweet little angel babies can cause such destruction. Maybe gremlins in the middle of the night???

I got Bitter Apple! I sprayed the carpet and furniture. He didnt touch it again. He taste it once and took off running lol

Shares the same birthday as Crystal and she would have been called 'Jasper' if we'd gone for a boy!

I'm leaving her alone on Sunday for a few hours?..?...? I previously posted that she'd escaped from her pen a month or so ago. She was alone for quite a few hours and didn't chew a thing. Encouraged by this maturity, I'm going to trust her! Here's hoping?
