| Bayleigh has insane prey drive. More drive even than both of my pit bulls together. There's nothing quite like a terrier. We have chipmunks that live under our sidewalk and steps to our porch. Bayleigh wants them so bad. When she sees them through the window, she'll try to get outside. Sometimes I'll take her out to sniff them out. She'll try to dig them out but it's just a hole in the concrete and she doesn't get anywhere. They like to run up and down the gutters and she literally ripped the downspout off the house trying to get at them. I live trapped a few of them and made a mock barn hunt. She found them each time in less than 30 seconds. She will also go after birds and squirrels and pretty much anything else that moves. She loves the flirt pole too. It is baited with deer hide. If she had the chance, she could definitely make it as a real working terrier. I would love to turn her loose in a barn full of mice and see what she'd do. I know she'd catch them and probably kill them. If she didn't, I'd be really surprised.

| Couver has insane prey drive. He screams when he sees squirrels. He has killed a baby duckling and a chicken before He babies kittens though. Khloe just likes to chase squirrels. She isn't too worried about anything else.

| YT 1000 Club Member | Sneakers is quite a Hunter. Has killed several Snakes and shown my other two how to devour a Frog. With our very heavily Tree populated property, no Squirrels as yet, and they keep very close to a Tree, when they see my guys come out. My Female Becca is the most "bird" orientated of the group. Has caught and killed several, including a small Hawk, which must have been totally out of it's mind, to try to pounce on her. Sneakers was near her when that happened, and by the time I got out to them, there were Hawk parts all over the yard. Ichabod (9 mo) has yet to catch anything, but has eaten droppings from several of the catches. Both Sneakers and Becca (adults) let Ickey know right up front, he was NOT to interfere with a kill. A very rude awakening for him, given the permissiveness the Adults give him with their supplied food.

| The only thing mine have ever caught is jewels caught a baby bird once that was just sitting in our yard. They are totally phaseless when there is a mouse in the house so its a good thing we have cats. So I dont think they have a very strong prey drive

| My dogs chase and hunt anything that moves. Crickets, grasshoppers, low flying moths, bees, mice, the bunny, frogs... oh how Fletcher loves to patrol the pool hunting frogs. He'll do it for HOURS on end, just pace around the pool, staring, looking for frogs. I do know they will kill frogs and bugs. I don't think on purpose... but I don't know what they'd do if they ever caught a mouse, chipmunk, squirrel, bunny. The bunny we have runs from them and they chase it, but the other bunny we had didn't run and they would run up to it and it would look at them and they would sniff for a few seconds and go on their merry way, so I don't think they are really 'killers'... more just like the chase! LOL
