| Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Good for you! Someone had to speak for the dog. Call the police with the number they will track them. Next time take a picture of the dog in the car and the license plate. Then call the cops. Then go inside and ask for the person. Police on the way to catch that cruel person in the act!

| YT 2000 Club Member | Bless you for taking charge. I hate when I see a dog in a car when it is hot. You were brave. I would not tangle with the owner, I would just call the police and let him(hope he or she is a dog lover) deal with the situation. I am sure they would do something and not leave the animal in the car. That is what I call cruelty to animals. Owner will and should get Busted! |

| You did the right thing. My DH would of been dialing 911 for me,well or maybe for the safety of the idiot. I have told him several times that it is just not wise to tell a woman that they are over reacting. |

| Why don't people just leave their dogs at home? I mean, yay, it's fun to have the pup with you, but if I know or am pretty sure I'm going to be stopping to eat or go in somewhere that doesn't allow dogs then I leave her at home. It's pretty simple and they're loads happier. |

| So glad you confronted him. I thought I was the only one who did this. May I say something? Stop asking, just call the police. Animal abuse IS against the law, even in CT. Stay with the vehicle until the cops get there. BTW....have seen several articles where windows were broken out of cars for rescue purposes. The breaker never gets into trouble. |

| If we have the furkids with us and we need to eat,it means Sonic or some other drive through and having a picnic in the truck. |
