DOG LEFT in the car!!!!!! So Angry....... just went to chilis and some IDIOT had there little poodle in the car while they were eating lunch. I walked into Chilis and said to who owns a such and such car with a litle poodle in it? The IDIOT said I do. I replied: in this heat do you realize it is against the law and you could have a dead dog on your hands own, it is 20 degrees hotter in the car than it is outside. ...The IDIOT said to me mind your own business I do it all the time. He replied: The dog is fine to shut my mouth and mind my own business and I said sir I am an animal lover and someone needs to stand up for your poor dog. I said to the guy I will tell you what you go sit out there in the car with your dog while your family stays in the air conditioning and has their lunch and tell me it is ok!!! I then said never mind I am calling the police.....He then decide that he should leave and take his dog home! He knew he was wrong or he would not of left!!!!!!! IDIOT!!!! My husband and I got in a tiff bc he said I was to harsh.................ugh!!!!! I don't care I was so angry I could have slapped this guy. The poor dog was drooling he was so hot......he does it all the time? OMG!!!!! Does anyone know who I call I got his license plate # |
That is just awful! You did the right thing, that poor dog! My only guess is call the police and give them the number, sorry I'm not more help:( |
way to go girl :bravo::bravo::bravo::bravo:there are some real idiots out there. Often people will walk past and say shame and do nothing, I applaud you for taking a stand.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:. Wish there were more people like you out there. |
I just found out it is not against the law in the state of CT to leave your dog in a car!!!!! OMG Fla does not even have a law against it! This is crazy!! |

You did the right thing, me I would have given him a free of charge broken window. This one of the reasons I'm going to try to get my Gina trained as a service dog, my wife is a RN, and we will be traveling soon, going on nursing contracts. I am a disabled Veteran, and should qualify for a service dog. Thank you for standing up for that poor dog, and hopefully CT will get on the ball and make it illegal to leave a dog in the car. Cheers Quad:animal36 |

<------ would have no problem busting the window in ! |
You did the right thing, for him to actually admit to doing it all the time is just ridiculous and shows some peoples ignorance. |
In Alberta, or at least in Medicine Hat, when we see an animal left in the car battling extreme tempratures, we call our local Bylaw Officer. Its separate from the police service. If we "break the window" we can be charged with vandalism  Fortunatly in a city of 60,000. their response time is immediate  I can't believe how stupid some people are! Poor furbabies :thumbdown |
:cheer::cheer: At least you didn't pour water into the car so the poodle could get a drink like I saw some ladies do. They didn't even go in and ask the owner be called out to the car, they called the police instead. Glad you stood your ground with that IDIOT! :cheer::cheer: |
