Yorkie Talker | Puppy with pinkeye trouble Hi, my 11 week old puppy has pinkeye in both eyes. I have to put cream in her eyes twice a day. Well, she HATES it! It is so hard to hold her still even with help from someone else. I'm so worried I'm not getting it in her eye but instead underneath her eye on her fur. Anyone have any tips to keep her calm while I put the cream in her eye? |

| Did you try wrapping her in a towel?

| Your poor puppy. Hope she recovers quickly. Try to be calm and confident when you put the cream in her eyes. If she senses your nervousness or anxiousness about doing it, she will be worried and more fidgety. Have a second person help hold her body. The towel is a good idea. When Max had to have eye drops. I steadied his head by carefully holding his chin (no pressure on neck). This might be more difficult with a tiny puppy head. Also, if she has enough hair, you can hold the chin hair. It sounds cruel, but it isn't. Best wishes to your little girl.

| This always works for me.. Sit on the floor , sit the pup facing away from you between your knees, put one hand under her chin and pull her head back slightly using your thumb to pull down on the bottom eyelid, come in from behind with your other hand and put the cream/drops in the bottom of the lid.. |
