| ![]() Miley and I just got back from the vet getting her 16 week shots. The vets assistant picks her up and says "she's so little is she a teacup" I said no she's just a normal puppy. Idk why that bothered me so much. Shouldn't the people that work with dogs know there's no such thing!! Oh then at petsmart the cashier tells me "I'm making a huge mistake" by not taking Miley out since she doesn't have all of her shots and by pad training her. Wtf is wrong with people?!

| ![]() Why is that a huge mistake?? that doesnt make any sense. and im pretty sure the vet should know there is no such this as a teacup....oh boy! lol i could go on and on about petsmart/banfield. some people there are wonderful, others, NOT SO MUCH! After taking our husky there since her first check up we went there about a few months later (yes she was still continually seeing banfield as her vet) and asked for her heartworm medications. they told us they couldn't give it to us because she hasn't had her bloodwork done in a while, except she had her bloodwork done 2 weeks before we asked, when she got spayed!!! we told them that and the lady said they have no record of it! WHAT?! no there is no record of there of her being spayed?!?!? WTF? I was so upset when I left there. we never took them there anymore after that. |

yeah that was rude! I completely agree...."she's not going to pay my vet bill when Miley gets parvovirus or something so her opinion wasn't needed!" you're doing the right thing by keeping her indoors until shes done with her shots. im on a rampage today lol sorry!! its also 6am here, not fully awake with only 2 sips of coffee haha | |

| ![]() I honestly don't see much wrong with someone advising you about the risks involved in taking a puppy out before all shots are done. Saying you are making a mistake is kind of weird; but advising you of risks is actually nice imo. There are many people who don't realize that their pups can get very, very sick if exposed to distemper or parvo before their shots are complete....and you never know what is walking around Petsmart or other pet stores. I have seen people walk their young puppies into my vet's waiting room and I have advised them to pick them up to avoid possible exposure.

| ![]() Vets and vet techs dont know abput breed standards so thats not a big deal. The clerk at petsmart should have minded her own buisness what difference does it make how you are potty training her

| ![]() Yes I realized that after I left awhile and calmed down. And I agree with the petsmart clerk. She was very pushy on HER beliefs and that really upset me.

Now, the cashier was willing to stop by and run Miley out while your at work? I would have asked her if she could so you could save money buying the wee wee pads. ![]() Mine goes outside and on pads. She has to go somewhere appropriate while I'm at work. When I'm home we go out. Just smile and ignore, you're the one that knows what Miley needs to be happy!(and where she needs to go to make you happy!)
