Just catching this thread. So gad to hear that Eva is out of surgery and doing well. Keeping Eva in my thoughts and prayers for a quick and complete recovery with prayers thrown in for you as well!

Glad to hear that she is out of surgery and also had her spay and baby tooth done as well. Praying for a great recovery for her.

So happy to hear she did well! Just be sure to follow the discharge instructions exactly... very important to keep her quiet as she heals. And don't hesitate to call the vet the moment she appears to not be acting as expected. Best of luck and praying for a speedy recovery!

Thank you for the continued prayers. Eva was refusing to eat so they changed her pain meds and she finally ate yesterday afternoon. The vet student reported that she definitely had become more lively and was barking for attention. So far things are still on track for Eva to come home on Sunday. kjc, thank you for the reminder to follow instructions. Will definitely do that. As feisty as she is, it's going to be a challenge. ~Joanne~
