I LOVE this Vet!!! What a great way to show what happens in a hot car.

This is the perfect time of year for this reminder. Here in AZ, if we see an animal in a car on a hot day - we can call 911, and the police will come. I've done it SEVERAL times, sadly. It makes me absolutely crazy to see dogs in hot cars

When we had our last dog Tina I just plainly REFUSED to take her shopping with me. My husband didn't understand then just how quickly it can affect a dog until I showed him a magazine article and then he was absolutely horrified

And this is in the UK where 20-25C is hot!!! I used to take Tina to the beach at 6.30am and again in the late evening about an hour before dusk...and even then it would occasionally be quite warm so I would encourage her to go swim in the sea

When I get my Yorkie she will never be left alone in the car, whatever the weather! It's just not worth the risk of overheating (or freezing in winter?) or being stolen

TV networks should run this on their newscasts as part of their public service duties.

I'm happy to see so many have been sharing this on FB. That's the first thing I did after seeing it too!

Hopefully it keeps getting shared amongst your friends and lots of people see this. There's just something so different about reading about the temperature going up in a vehicle and seeing that vet sitting there sweating.

Since TV networks can run Casey Anthony and Jodi Arias and George Zimmerman trials 7 hours a day and longer to gather viewership, it would be wonderful of them to take a few minutes to run this a few times a day since they are making more $$$ off the added viewership and sure can afford it. It could get the message out all over the States so fast! Even the first two minutes are powerful enough to get the message across and then jump to the last few seconds when the temp is so hot. Of course in Texas and Southwester states and in the highest summer temps, the heat would be way, way hotter than that, not even factoring in the humidity. What an awful death for a child or a pet!!!

Heat+small animals or children=BAD!!!!! I have friends who lost their Pug puppy a couple of years ago because while they were at work the thermostat in their house malfunctioned and the pup roasted to death in his kennel. They were so devastated and felt so guilty!
