| ![]() We had the mom get sick and we did bring home our Maggie at 6 weeks, but this is our second Yorkie Baby so we are doing well. Partial Crate training is what we are doing and it is great especially for a younger pup. ![]() At this time Maggie has developed her own space that she can come and go from freely as well as learning to use the Puppy pad. We are expected to get 18 in of snow so using the puppy pads are going to save us in the snow, cold weather, and in the times that we do not know that she is going to need outside. We are also using the bell that is next to our door and when we take Maggie outside to use the bathroom we ring the bell so that will be her way of communicating with us that she needs to go outside..... once she gets a little bigger. GOOD luck with your Yorkie Baby and let us see pictures.

| ![]() My little Bichon came to me by airplane. He came with a (not too small) little white stuffed dog - that he still sleeps with. And, he is 4 1/2 years old now. My little dogs have always slept with me starting the first night I had them, and I have never had a problem with any of them missing their mother. But - if they weren't sleeping with me, they would be crying their little hearts out. Carol Jean |

| ![]() I'm getting my boy in a few weeks. He'll be 5 weeks old this weekend, so assuming your breeder agrees to wait a bit we'll might be bringing them home around the same time. ![]() Crate from Petsmart with an adjustable divider to grow with them potty pads collar and leash kong food and water bowls (the kind that don't slip or spill easily) puppy purse treat jar brush training spray Nature's Miracle for cleaning up accidents lint glove I still have alot to get in the next few weeks. Not to mention I think I need to have all of my laundry done twice and my house cleaned a few times over because I know with 2 puppies I won't be sleeping for a while. There is a lot of information on here. This is a link to a thread with this topic that has a good list already going. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...=shopping+list Good luck and make sure to take lots of pictures!! Leah |

| ![]() Welcome! I just have to say though, if any breeder told me they were letting their puppies go at 5 or 6 wks, I would move on and find another breeder. Have you checked out Pixies Pad? ( http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26762 ) She is way more prepared then I would ever be when I get another Yorkie ![]()

| ![]() well welcome to YT!!! If you have any specific thing you are curious about, use the search box. It will pull up TONS of threads for you with a wealth of info! My only concern is bringing your baby home at 5 weeks. That is MUCH too young! You shouldn't be getting her until at least 8 weeks! Preferably 10-12 weeks!
