We had the mom get sick and we did bring home our Maggie at 6 weeks, but this is our second Yorkie Baby so we are doing well. Partial Crate training is what we are doing and it is great especially for a younger pup. Here is an idea, we got a crate at walmart for around $29.00 i made a bed out of soft warm material and put a couple of stuffed animals in for her to have her own space. I left the crate open and put a puppy pad outside of her door. I then put all this in the bathroom that has tile floors that will not be ruined.
At this time Maggie has developed her own space that she can come and go from freely as well as learning to use the Puppy pad. We are expected to get 18 in of snow so using the puppy pads are going to save us in the snow, cold weather, and in the times that we do not know that she is going to need outside. We are also using the bell that is next to our door and when we take Maggie outside to use the bathroom we ring the bell so that will be her way of communicating with us that she needs to go outside..... once she gets a little bigger.

GOOD luck with your Yorkie Baby and let us see pictures.
