What is the average cost of a puppy? & Too many dogs?

I'm just wondering how a puppy gets shipped by courier. I'm not planning on getting a new pup or anything...I'm just curious how it works. I had no idea that shipping a puppy in cargo was an option. Do people really do that?

A lot of people are using airline stewardesses. I think the cost is $250 to $400 depending on who you use and where they are going. You just meet the stewardess at the airport and she carries the puppy on the plane with her.

We ended up with an 11 month old from a show breeder right in our town. It still cost us 2,000 but she was well worth it...

He was and is a very well socialized pup. After a long trip to the airport, the flight to me. He came out of the carrier happy, jumping and licking me. My vet said on his wellness exam " he is the most friendly and sweet Yorkie he ever met" I love my breeder. She is amazing. There is also a few others that I would recommend in a minute. I spent a lot of time talking to the breeder. I missed out on a few too. I feel though it was meant to be to get Galen. I think he is perfect
