| ![]() As I said I'm not condemning anyone who answered her, I don't expect each of you to notice the same red flags I see, or Yorkiemom1 sees. I as someone who advocates for these pups saw the thread and what I saw was: HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I GET FOR THESE PUPS AND BY THE WAY PM ME IF YOU WANT ONE. Yorkiemom1 saw it from a breeders eyes, I mean who really goes on a dog forum and says HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I GET FOR THESE PUPS? I don't think there is a breeder here who would do that. Chachi, Dawn and the others who answered I know for certain you wouldn't have answered if any of you had known, ....It is deceptive and sneaky the way she posted that...I reported it as such as well, anytime someone is saying they have pups for sale on a thread that is not in the Yorkies for sale thread makes me dig further.... Additionally, I saw that she had so few posts and of course I read them all....even I was stunned, shocked, still am......I have no useful words for people like this, none at all...sickening just sickening...

| ![]() Just came back and read some more of this thread. I had no idea these were puppy mill pups from a rescue when I replied. I to am appalled by this breeding and feel so bad for the pups involved ![]()

I just hope and pray, that something can and will be done about this. I am hoping that someone will help put a stop to her before another pup has to pay for Greed !! ![]()

| ![]() Sadly it's not just her. It's too bad that there cannot be some sort of registry and license for breeders that requires them to have been through a breeding program/mentorship before being able to sell puppies. I am not trying to offend any legitimate breeders, but most of the good ones have gone through a mentorship. I am sitting here looking at my Anna who had been kept in a cage for 6 years by a byb, until she was no longer seen as useful. Then, she was dumped at a shelter without any regard to what could possibly happen to her. This baby would do anything, and I mean ANYTHING, to please me. I assume the OP's baby was/is the same way. How could some one violate this trust? It makes me sick to think that Anna could have ended up this way. Even sicker to know that another baby like her did end up this way. How much can their tiny little bodies take? I am a little upset with the rescue groups that do not check up on their babies. My Anna came from a shelter in a very poor part of Arkansas that is run on donations. Even in a backwoods, low income area, this shelter is working hard to protect their animals. Her foster still texts me about once a week to check on her. She asks for pictures also. All pets at this shelter are spayed/neutered, updated on shots, teeth checked/cleaned, and any health issues addressed before being adopted out. |

| ![]() No respectable, ethical breeder, is going to come to a non breeder forum, and admit they have bred an unregistered female, to deliberately produce a litter that is unregisterable, and then ASK WHAT THEY CAN SELL THE PUPPIES FOR....if a "newbie" respectable breeder has a question about SELLING her babies, she will go to her mentor, or another breeder she knows personally, or her professional breed club or registry.....Now, something that will grab your heart.....that female was referred to as "older" in her original post....so now, we have her bred and the babies can not be registered....is it because the female is over 12 years old, which is the cut off age for registering a litter from a female that age??? The female may very well be registered...but the litter cant be registered because mom is tooo old...... Last edited by Yorkiemom1; 07-03-2013 at 12:10 PM. |

When will folks ever ever get, that this is a pet forum. That most breeders would not post for sale on this forum at all. NOR would they ask out loud here what to sell for? Whilst that maybe a legitimate question it is done through your mentor, through your breed club, and through your own internet searches. Well actually nix the internet searches.

| ![]() This is sickening. And where has that OP run off to? I feel so sorry for those pups, and this is a PERFECT example of why you should only buy puppies from reputable breeders. You don't know where they got the dogs from or why they bred them, why they aren't registered (or couldn't be), or what defects that are ticking like a time bomb ready to go off when least expected. AND THESE PUPS WERE RESCUES?! This woman should be ashamed of herself, but instead she is asking how much to charge for the SIX puppies she forced her girl to have. How can you sleep at night? How can you look at yourself in the mirror? You make me sick to my stomach.

| ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I've just lost a cat aged 3 years old who was used as a breeding machine by the scum who had her before the charity I foster for rescued her. Sadly she picked up a virus from an infected tomcat and this led to her developing cancer on both kidneys and we had to let her go to Rainbow Bridge on June 15th.....and still miss her like crazy ![]() Breeding healthy puppies from good examples of the breed, from health-tested parents, I am all for but when it's breeding of ANY animal for just £££££ (or $$$$$) absolutely boils me..... ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() 3 to 4 million healthy adoptable animals are euthanized in animal shelters every year because of people like this. We need to stand up for these animals and stop uneducated people from breeding. Please unless you plan to show and unless you are doing it for the love of the breed and NOT money please get your animal spayed or neutered.

![]() ![]() ![]() It would be lovely to be able to say it's ok to have a litter from your beloved pet but nowadays it just isn't really morally so....not when you look at the millions of poor cats and dogs who are dumped onto rescue shelters each year ![]() | |

| ![]() I see conflicting info on Google, but I see anywhere from 3-4 million to 6-8 million. Either way that's tens of THOUSANDS of perfectly good pets EVERY DAMN DAY.
