| When you leave her alone, do you leave her in a small space? You say she sometimes doesnt potty on the pad? If they have too big of a space they will potty in other areas- best to leave them in a small space.

| I was going to suggest you take a foldable small playpen when you visit your friends but I just read that she dislikes being in it. Maybe if you try to bring the playpen to your friend's house she would like it knowing she is near you and then make it easier for her to get used to in your own home. It really helps in housetraining!!! |

| IME I used a belly band on Moki when I went places =ppl house. I would take him out ect..Sometimes he would have an accident. The was a fem pad in there. But when I got him home I always washed him really good. In a new place they may not know how to tell you they need to go or maynot. IMO if you used a diaper took them to a friends how. Let them out to go...ect If they did go in the diaper you can clean he up right away. I would leave one on he home alone. But like you said when you can take her with you. To me that's better then leaving her home. She will be able to control it when she gets older. I mean shes gonna pee with the diaper on or off. Doesn't matter imo. Being with you is important imo |

| My guess is that she was so upset when I first tried it because she wasn't used to me yet or her new surroundings

| You can get one on amazon. I bought 2 Best Play Pens-one for my car to take along when I visit my family or friends and one for my house. It's large enough for a bed and a wee wee pad. |

| Courtney, They always cry in their crate...at first, they just have to get used to it. Later they will love it. I know it's hard to let them cry, and it may even take more than just a day, but they will get used to it, and later feel very safe there. If you are at home or at a friends, just keep miley on a long leash attached to your belt or around your waist, and that way you will see when she needs to go to the bathroom, or is getting into something she shouldn't. If she's free in your room sh will only learn to go wherever. |

| I used diapers when mine were in heat. I did use them with Zoey during the last 1-2 months before she passed because she was sick and it could not be prevented. She had renal failure and would pee every 30-45 mins. She would be walking to the door to signal she needed to go out and would be peeing as she walked. Mine have never used a wee wee pad. They are outdoor trained.
