GREAT post. Vet care in Phoenix metro is most definitely not cheap. However, I have found it's fairly priced - given their operating costs, their skill, their nice facility. Consider what their overhead is and the staff they need etc - it's not cheap. Vets do not make a ton of money...so they don't charge bc they're trying to make these exorbitant profits and salaries...they'd be out of business in a heart beat if they charged merely for great profits, bc it wouldn't happen. | We do vet visits every 6 months for wellness checks including blood and urine. I am often at the vet for other things and have a couple of ongoing issues that require regular visits. I've had a lot of vets and all of them have been fair and some are higher priced than others. I have found someone now that is very good and has decent pricing while still maintaining what I consider to be necessary standards of care. For me it's about the quality of care at reasonable and customary prices not the cheapest vet in the neighborhood who might use dirty instruments or antiquated aesthetics on my beloved pets.

Yes I agree with you whole heartedly and hope to find that too. Now on a quest to find the Vet I "thought" I had. Thanks Tina
