| My baby is home! She is so pitiful looking, though. At the vet they put one of those nasty e collars on her. We are going to try to use her onesies from when she was spayed, but covering up her belly is way different from covering up her well-you know. Thank you for the prayers and encouragement. I will let you all know how she's doing tomorrow. |

| So glad Puff is home.. As long as you are watching her ( really good), you can leave the cone off. I know those are so uncomfortable and I think make them feel worse.

| So glad Puff is hope and doing so well post surgery. One of our members here makes great fashionable soft collars Mom to Hot Rod they are called Kiss E Collars http://kissecollar.com/ Buster has one from his LP surgery. The collar helps them from licking the wound as there is lots of bacteria in their mouth and from nibbling on their stitches.

| So glad to hear she came through the surgery OK and is doing good. It's so scary when our babies have to go through things like this. Hugs Genea |

| Puff Glad you have her home with you and that she came through surgery successfully. Yes they do look so sad with the hard collar on, but they do a good job, especially at first. Some dogs hate them more than others, but mine did not mind thank goodness. The Kissee collar is great I found when the wound is not fresh and has healed a bit. Probably little Puff will still be a bit sedated so she may not object to the collar so much. Certainly she will have to wear it for bedtime? Hoping you will all sleep better tonight knowing all is well. Look forward to more good news tomorrow. Get well soon Puff. |

| Puff update Well, last night was endless. Puff was very uncomfortable and didn't sleep much at all. Today was better, but even with the addition of a second pain Med she is still hurting. She has an appointment Saturday morning to evaluate condition and meds. Thanks for all of the prayers and encouragement! |

| Puff Poor baby, so sorry she had a bad night and is in pain. Hope the vet visit on Saturday helps ease her discomfort. It must be a horrible area for surgery and I pray it will heal soon and she will feel better. It is so sad to see our babies in pain, oh how I wish they could tell us how they feel. They are such brave little mites and do not complain. Hope you both have a more peaceful night tonight and that Puff feels better tomorrow. |
