| House Training? As 4:00 today approaches my questions keep flooding in I have stated previously that we don't want to pad train Brighton, but our forecast for the next 3 days calls for 70-80% rain. What is my best option? Do I put a puppy pad on the back lanai and take her there to potty so she still associates going out the back door and outside to potty, or do I just put a pad down in the house and worry about starting training over the weekend when the weather clears up? |

| So I should use the pad outside on the porch and just continue to potty outside in the grass after the weather clears up? Will this help her to associate going potty with going out that door? As long as there is not a pad inside the house anywhere she will not look to go potty on one while inside? Is that a correct assumption? Are they that intelligent? |

| Our Princess Sophie isn't the least bit afraid of going outside in the rain, you might just take an umbrella for yourself and see if she will go outside in the rain. That could actually be handy!

Senior Yorkie Talker | We live in the UK, so.... we often have 70-80% rain and we get it too, although mine all don't like going out in the rain they go out none the less, come rain or shine and even snow and they wait for all feet ect to be dried off before they come in, Merlin likes this part least of all, bless him
