| Jackson says : "What is a ramp or stairs?" LOL... my dads dogs cannot get up on the bed by themselves, they tried stairs and they would never use them. I think a ramp would go better for them personally, so maybe it's worth trying. Jackson just leaps over any ramps or stairs

| Hahahaha, this is the one we copied , not mine as I don't have a camera so couldn't put a pic of mine. We made ours fit the foot of the bed The only diff is , do you see the top of this ramp on the end where it meets the wall, mine has an end on it to prevent my pups from trying to jump off the high side. I wondered the same thing when I 1st saw this pic, lol Last edited by lillymae; 06-07-2013 at 06:10 PM. |

The one I purchased I won for cheap on ebay. It was a very $$$ item. I leave it in the step position. It provides a very large step area and the rise is low. It's perfect for Lucy. Good luck. Tracey | |

| I want to add that with the price of the plywood AND the carpet, it cost less then $50.00 to make this ramp & soooo worth it as it will last a lifetime & beyond. And IF I ever get tired of the carpet and/or color, I can always go to fabric OR a diff color carpet. Also just FYI, the ramp part is 10 in wide but with the siding & thickness of the carpet the total measurement width is 11 in wide, so takes up very little floor space at the end of the bed. |
