| Good evening, I installed a medium Petsafe Classic pet door to my screen door. One third of it has a solid aluminum panel at the bottom so it worked out great! Does your door have a aluminum panel or is it fully screened? Moorepet has a variety of pet doors for all types of doors. Hope this helps. Screen Mounted Pet Doors for cats and dogs |

| How big are your dogs? Dogs under 10 pounds should never ever be left outside alone.

| We dont use a doggie door because we have coyotes, hawks and owls eventhough I live in a large city. Our back yard has a 5ft chain link fence around it and a coyote can scale that like it isnt even there. We take all five of ours out every couple of hours and just stand in the yard with them. |

Sabu is 42 lbs. I'll be looking at doggie doors today that YazminD suggested. My screen door is fully screened. Thank you.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | If you cant find a screen door with the doggy door already installed its so much easier. Also not bad on the price, very affordable. If you check on line they may be able to find one and have it shipped to your local hardware store. We love our doggy door and plan on getting another one for the house door so that they will have full access to the dog run.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | @Dawn27 - Where would I find what you're talking about? Any chance of sharing your information? I provided a picture of what between Julie and Sabu did to our screen door. From this picture, you can see why I'm looking for such a screen door with with a doggy door. Again Sabu weighs in at 42 lbs. Starlette Screen Door 130627

Here is one with the doggy door already installed with an opening of 14 x 23. It pretty easy to get them to use it too. Just bribe them with treats! Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Storm door = Screen door? The picture shows shows it several inches from the floor meaning that I'd still have to replace the screen door. I wonder Home Depot or Lowes could replace the screen and install the doggy door also. The second one is the one that I'm particularly looking at.

If you install a doggy door only in your existing entry door than you would have to do away with or prop open your screen door or they will go right threw it again. That screen door is like the one I have with a smaller doggy door. It has a screen and a storm winder that you can lower up or down to let in the air. (wait for a sale) Im sure that they do installs. I would look at the cost to have the screen replaced and the cost of and to install the new doggy door and compare them to what it would cost you to just purchase and install the ready make door with doggy door. Than ask yourself will this happen again and how much will it cost to repair a second and third time?

If you like Do-It-Yourself projects, Home Depot has all the supplies you need to repair your screen door and they have the Petsafe Door Dawn27 has suggested. Replacing a screen on a door is really pretty easy but if you choose not to tackle it yourself, Home Depot will install their products for approximately $100.00. Hope this helps.
