| Anyone else got a climber/jumper? Jarvis is now almost 8 months and has become quite the little climber and jumper. I've found him on shelves and tables and all manner of places I never in my wildest dreams expected him to be able to reach. He is usually so loyal and well trained and will happily listen and do whatever you tell him (I think he enjoys obeying and learning) but once he is left alone for even a few moments he seems to be overcome with the urge to GET HIGHER AND HIGHER. lol. He went ahead of us down a path in a park recently and this happened. (my ipad doesn't like helping me upload photos so here is a link Jarvis climbs treel; Instagram ) Has anyone dealt with this problem and how did you train it out of them? He is walked a lot, socialises with other dogs daily, attends doggy day care once a week and plays in the house and outside all the time so I'm sure it isn't a stimulation issue - I'd just really love to not have to worry about him falling from a 7ft bookcase. |

| Haha my husband said exactly the same. The little thing leaps with such grace and skill he must be feline in some way or another. I found him on top of the 1cm wide shower screen the other day - I have NO idea how he managed that. |

| LOL OMG are you serious?? How in the world does he get down?? I wish I could tell you how to stop the little rascal… jumping / landing like that are really not good for his small bones. All it takes it one wrong landing..

We went away for 10 days around a month ago so he went to his regular doggy day care for a long stay and has come back with many new and varied skills. | |

| LOL I have never heard of this- I am baffled! Do you take him on a lot of walks or maybe even a light run? Maybe he needs more exercise? LOL

| My Pixie is a jumper and amazing climber too. When she was a Puppy I couldn't find her after I took my shower. I was looking all over the house starting to panic bc she always comes when I call. All of a sudden I heard a rustling in the trash and I looked in and there she was having a grand ole time. She had jumped from the kitchen chair to the kitchen table and leaped into the trash..She amazed me how she accomplished that one.
